Silk Ribbon
Monday, December 3 6:00 - 8:00 pm
$19.00 per session. Kit included in the class price.
You have seen the beautiful silk ribbon books & patterns and thought, how did they do that? Wow! I would like to learn how to do that! Carol will show you how to form leaves, flowers and other embellishments to create a beautiful project using silk ribbon and silk floss. In no time at all you will be able to create your own beautiful project.
 
Silk Ribbon II
Wednesday, December 12 1:00 - 3:00 pm
$19.00 per session. Kit included in the class price.
This intermediate class will allow you to refine the stitches that you have
learned to date. You will learn the Loop Stitch, Rolled Rose stitch, as well as
the layered and double color ribbon technique.


Crazy Quilt Block Party
Tuesday, October 9 1:00 - 3:00 pm
$15.00 per session.
Explore the wonders of the crazy quilts past and present. Spend time with Carol learning how to construct a crazy quilt. Bring to class 6 or more ( 9" x11") silks, satins, velvet, valor or cotton scraps of material, add a little lace, some buttons, and/or beads. You will also need your sewing kit and scissors. In class you will learn how to embellish your crazy quilt block with different items and fancy embroidery stitches.


Crazy Quilt Block Party II
Monday, October 22 6:00 - 8:00 pm
$10.00 per session.
Now that you have started your crazy quilt block this class will allow
you to add more fancy stitches and embellishments. Don't forget those
buttons, beads, lace and other embellishments. If you are working on a
crazy quilt block please bring your block(s) to class.
 

Brazilian Embroidery
Monday, October 15 6:00 - 8:00 pm
$19.00 per session. Kit included in the class price.
Learn the basic steps needed to create the knots and loops that form the elegant Brazilian embroidery stitches. Carol will explain the characteristics of the special thread used and will give you tips and hints to make it easy & fun!
 
Brazilian Embroidery II
Monday, November 12 1:00 - 3:00 pm
$19.00 per session. Kit included in the class price.
You will learn more than the just the basics in this class. You will learn how to create and position your stitches to form beautiful floral patterns.
 

English Paper Piecing
Wednesday, October 24 1:00 - 3:00 pm
$10.00 per session.
If you like hand sewing this is the class for you. Remember the wonderful Grandma's Flower Garden block pattern? Carol will teach you how to make your own flower garden blocks. Bring to class a pair of paper and material scissors and your sewing kit. You will need three fat quarters of material (two floral and one plain) that contrast nicely.


Embroidery Fun
Saturday, October 13 9:30 - 11:30 am
Tuesday, November 20 1:00 - 3:00 pm
$10.00 per session.
Do you remember the embroidery that Grandma use to do by hand? If you would
like to learn to embroider this class is for you. Take this opportunity to learn about
basic embroidery, plus other helpful hints that will enhance your embroidery.
Everyone is welcome, join in the fun.

Class Registration Information

Classes will be held at my home 2074 SE Joseph Lane, Dallas, OR.

Registration: Registration is very important. Class size is limited, so please enroll early. Supply lists are given for each class (by phone) at the time of registration. Family and/or friends are welcome but must pay for the class. Payment ensures that you have a space in class.
Class Policies: You may wish to sign up over the phone or by credit card. If a class does not fill, you will receive a full refund or credit towards another class. If you cancel at lease three days in advance, you will receive a full refund. No refunds will be made after three days before class. Attendance in class is the responsibility of the student. If you cannot attend, you are welcome to send someone in your place. Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum of (four) students do not enroll.
General Information: 1) Bring your basic sewing kit; 2) Children/Babies are not allowed in class; 3) please be on time or a bit early, all classes start promptly; 4) Dress comfortably; 5) Please do not copy class handouts for you friends - this is a copyright violation; 6) Due to allergies, please be considerate of others, do not wear strong perfumes or scents.
